Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has unveiled a generous offer for motorists during the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holidays. Parking across Dubai will be complimentary for a period of six

days, extending from the 29th of Ramadan to the 3rd of Shawaal, according to the Islamic calendar. This means that from Monday, April 8 to April 12, motorists can benefit from free parking, coinciding with the Eid Al Fitr celebrations.

Should Eid Al Fitr fall on April 10, individuals will relish six consecutive days of parking freedom, including Sunday, which traditionally offers free parking in the emirate. However, in the event that Eid Al Fitr occurs on April 9, the free parking period will span five days, with paid parking resuming on the 4th of Shawaal.

Additionally, the RTA has outlined operational hours for its various services during the Eid Al Fitr holiday period:

Vehicle Testing Centers: These centers will remain open on the 29th of Ramadan and the 3rd of Shawwal, ensuring continued accessibility for necessary vehicle assessments.

Customer Happiness Centres: While all Customer Happiness Centres will be closed during the Eid holidays, select Smart Customers Centres, including those in Umm Ramool, Deira, Barsha, Al Kifaf, and the RTA Head Office, will maintain regular operations, functioning 24/7.

Dubai Metro: Operating hours for the Dubai Metro will be adjusted during the holiday period, with services running from 5 am to 1 am on April 6, from 8 am to 1 am on Sunday, April 7, and from 5 am to 1 am from Monday to Saturday, April 8-13. On Sunday, April 14, services will operate from 8 am to 12 midnight.
