The Ajman Transport Authority in the UAE has recently introduced a new taxi fare structure, which became effective immediately upon its announcement. As per the advisory

issued, the standard cab fare for the emirate has been set at Dh1.82 for every kilometer traveled.

This updated rate, which will be in effect throughout the month of July, represents an increase of 1 fil compared to the previous month's rate of Dh1.81 per kilometer. The Ajman Transport Authority aims to ensure fair and reasonable pricing for taxi services while considering various factors that may influence transportation costs.

The introduction of the revised taxi fare comes shortly after the UAE's fuel price committee announced the fuel rates for the current month. Motorists can expect to pay between Dh2.55 and Dh3.70 more for a full tank of petrol in July, depending on the vehicle type. These adjustments reflect the fluctuating fuel prices and will impact the overall cost of transportation for residents and visitors alike. Photo by Bin Al Stroker, Wikimedia commons.
